BlockFi claims filing deadline is May 15, with only 43% of non-U.S. customers completing claims
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the bankrupt cryptocurrency lending company BlockFi stated that creditors must claim their allocated assets by May 15. So far, 97% of U.S. customers have claimed their allocations, while only 43% of non-U.S. customers have received theirs. One possible reason for the low number of claims is that people may have considered the message from BlockFi Estate requiring customers to choose a payment method as spam or a phishing attack. Some customers may need to complete the KYC identity verification process to receive their allocations.
BlockFi strongly advises all customers who have not yet received their allocations or completed this process to do so before May 15, 2025. Bankruptcy law stipulates that assets not claimed by customers before the May 15 deadline will be shared among lower-priority unsecured creditors. BlockFi filed for bankruptcy in November 2022 and announced a plan in July 2024 to distribute 100% of the dollar value of customer claims at the time of the bankruptcy filing. (CoinDesk)

This public round will allocate 25% of the total token supply, with the valuation based on the funds raised in the public round. All tokens will be fully unlocked at the token generation event (TGE). The SO token is used for protocol governance, yield enhancement, and value sharing, allowing holders to earn additional yields through staking and participate in yield distribution and buyback mechanisms. Currently, the Soul testnet is live.
