On March 29, blockchain explorer TRONSCAN data showed that the issuance of TRC20-USDT has surpassed 65.7 billion, reaching a historic high and accounting for 45.5% of the total issuance of USDT across the network. Since 2025, TRC20-USDT has cumulatively increased by 6 billion, demonstrating strong market demand and further consolidating TRON's dominant position in the stablecoin sector.

TRC20-USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar issued by Tether on the TRON network. Since its launch in April 2019, it has been widely welcomed by crypto users. As of now, the number of accounts holding TRC20-USDT has exceeded 63.29 million, with a total of 2.4 billion transactions, playing an important role in value circulation globally.

As an excellent use case for the large-scale adoption of blockchain benefiting real life, TRC20-USDT has become the preferred stablecoin for billions of users. In 2022, TRON was officially designated by Dominica as a national-level blockchain infrastructure, and TRC20-USDT along with six other TRON-based tokens enjoy the same rights as fiat currency in the country. Meanwhile, TRC20-USDT is also widely used in financial trusts, communication transfers, travel settlements, and cross-border payments, with an increasing number of mainstream platforms supporting TRC20-USDT.
