A few days ago, when I was busy, I saw a friend @ me asking about the Nilion airdrop, and it seems there are quite a few unsatisfactory aspects. Just now, while browsing the news, I came across this article that should introduce the Nilion airdrop plan. Since I haven't participated myself, I'm not very clear on what the friends' demands are, nor do I know if the Nilion project team has listened to their concerns.
But I took a quick look at the content of the article, which seems to impose restrictions on the airdrop. Although many explanations were provided, overall it appears to be a kind of anti-sybil mechanism. This is understandable, as the project team and those participating in the airdrop are in a love-hate relationship; the project team hopes that more rewards can be given to real users.
On the other hand, those participating in the airdrop believe they are the real users, having genuinely engaged in staking and interactions, and thus deserve the airdrop rewards. This has led to a witch hunt between the project team and the airdrop participants.
