According to the official announcement, based on the latest evaluation results, Binance will suspend the fixed-rate service for 7 and 30 days of pledge borrowing on September 2, 2024, 12:00 (GMT+8).
Starting from September 2, 2024, 12:00 (GMT+8), users will not be able to create new fixed-rate pledge borrowing orders or extend existing orders, including users using the SAPI endpoint. It is recommended that users stop using the relevant endpoints before the above date. Ongoing fixed-rate pledge borrowing orders will not be affected until the orders expire.
Note: VIP fixed-rate borrowing orders will not be affected by this service update.
According to WazirX's announcement, it plans to hold its first Townhall meeting at 16:00 on September 2 to discuss the proposed restructuring and moratorium application.
Earlier this week, WazirX announced that it had requested six months from the Singapore High Court to restructure its debt. This will initiate a 30-day automatic moratorium. According to official sources, USDe developer Ethena Labs announced the launch of the second season event Sats, which will be supported by BTC. The second season event will last for 5 months until September 2, or until the USDe supply reaches 5 billion USD, whichever comes first. It is reported that if users do not engage in any activities that violate the airdrop rules in the near future and add any new USDe to the same wallet in the new incentive plan, users who participated in the first season will receive a 20% increase in Sats in the second season.
