Blockchain security audit provider Zellic has acquired a smart contracting auditing platform and competitor Code4rena, marking its first acquisition and aiming to provide clients with more comprehensive security reviews.
Zellic and Code4rena will combine their blockchain security prowess to enhance security offerings. "Clients can expect the rigot of Zellic's consultative audits paired with the extensive coverage and creativity from Code4rena's expert participants in competitive audits," a press release shared with The Block claims.
"Zellic's mission has always been to do the best audits," Zellic CEO Luna Tong explained.
Tong also introduced Audits+, which combines Zellic's "deep expertise with the breadth of Code4rena competitions." According to the CEO, "Audits+ set a new standard for what it means for a project to have been thoroughly reviewed. It's a huge win for clients."
Zellic's CTO, Jazzy Bedi, added that "the technical prowess of Zellic and its security engineers, reinforced with the diverse expertise of the wardens at Code4rena, will be unmatched."
Code4rena's CEO meanwhile added that the project is "thrilled to join forces with Zellic," adding that its users and community "can rest assured that Code4rena will continue to operate independently, maintaining the same level of trust and reliability they've come to expect."
The partnership has also been endorsed by Paradigm research partner samczsun, who said in a press release that they believe Zellic is "one of the top auditing firms in the world." As The Block reported in March last year, Paradigm funded the Code4rena DAO to create incentives for independent auditors hunting for bugs with a $6 million token purchase.
