The first round of ZetaChain XP airdrop is coming soon.
All ecological applications can submit ZETA rewards RFP before 00:00 (UTC) on July 1, marking the beginning of the first distribution of airdrop rewards for applications. The 90-day XP launch event has ended. The mainnet rewards for the first round are mainly based on the first XP user snapshot on May 1, 2024. To support the continuous growth of the ZetaChain network, this airdrop activity has empowered ZetaChain ecological applications to better determine the ZETA rewards that users can receive based on XP data layer. This approach ensures that airdrop rewards are distributed to the majority of core users and XP activities, while allowing the entire ecosystem to participate.
For any related questions, the AMA on June 18 will provide a good opportunity to ask.
80 million ZETA rewards have been distributed in the user growth pool
Since the launch of ZetaChain 1.0, over 80 million ZETA from the User Growth Pool (UGP) have been distributed to users to help attract and reward users on the ZetaChain network.
This includes the distribution of 31.5 million ZETA to users of the ZetaLabs testnet when the ZetaChain mainnet beta was launched, as well as 50 million ZETA for various marketing activities, including the OKX Jumpstart launch pool marketing, OKX Cryptopedia, TokenPocket, Bitget Task2Earn wallet activities, and Galxe Airdrop on social channels.
XP Airdrop Round 1: 10 million ZETA
To incentivize the effective use and growth of the network, ZetaChain announced that it will provide 10 million ZETA rewards from the UGP in the first round of the XP airdrop.
Proposal request for ZetaChain ecological applications
This airdrop activity invites all applications on ZetaChain to submit proposals for analyzing the XP data layer to effectively distribute ZETA rewards to XP users. Applications on ZetaChain must submit their Request for Proposal (RFP) by 00:00 (UTC) on July 1, 2024. After the final review and airdrop allocation announcement, reward distribution can start as early as July 1, 2024. At that time, the project can determine the timeline for its airdrop distribution.
Overall, approximately 419,000 users are eligible for rewards based on the initial snapshot. These users have shown a high level of loyalty to the program, with at least 200,000 XP in the first phase, completing most activities weekly and almost all activities eligible for XP airdrop rewards, meeting a high threshold. While airdrop rewards are concentrated on these users, they may also include more users and data (see the guidelines below).
In addition to complying with these basic criteria, applications will use XP data to determine other user levels and rewards according to the guidelines. The content submitted by applications includes project information, ZETA allocation requests, traction data for the application, proposed airdrop distribution levels, and reasons.
Projects must submit by 00:00 (UTC) on July 1, 2024, here.
Eligibility
Projects eligible to submit proposals include teams that have deployed active contracts on the ZetaChain mainnet beta and have active users. All submissions will need to verify the deployment/ownership of their applications. Submissions are not limited to applications with active activities in the XP program; any project with actual users and utility can submit. Before the allocation and distribution of rewards, the UGP committee will conduct a comprehensive due diligence on all eligible applications.
Guidelines
The XP airdrop program allows projects to design their token distribution plans to best reward their users. When creating a proposal, projects should follow the following requirements and guidelines:
95% or more of the airdrop allocation must be distributed to users.
The development team can retain a maximum of 5% of the airdrop allocation to cover operational costs or support future user growth plans.
The majority of users receiving airdrop rewards must have XP≥200,000 in the first phase XP snapshot dataset. This hyperlink points to the compiled dataset of all addresses in the XP snapshot during the first 90 days. Applications can use this dataset in combination with other on-chain data to determine appropriate rewards for users. The basic criteria standards and user airdrop allocation levels designed by the application are the final screening criteria for airdrop reward distribution.
For airdrop allocation levels, applications must follow the following structure: Applications can set up to 15 reward allocation levels, with a minimum of 5 levels. Among them, up to 3 levels can be based on non-XP snapshot data—such as social verification, off-chain data calculation, or data after the XP snapshot. The reasons for reward levels must be disclosed or verifiable. All these requirements are aimed at better ensuring that rewards are not concentrated in a few centralized parties or addresses.
Applications can set up reward mechanisms, such as first come, first served, proportional distribution based on snapshots, or other methods. Applications should discuss with their community and users to determine the most effective reward method.
XP data graph data can be used in airdrop allocation, including users completing at least Y tasks, users having over XXX XP, and users participating for at least X weeks.
Potential on-chain standards that applications can use in their airdrop distribution may include frequency, overall completion, specific task completion, gas expenditure, and overall ranking/level/XP.
Applications are encouraged to introduce their own rewards, independent of ZETA airdrops. In addition to ZETA airdrops, applications can use their specific portion to reward users, which can build a closer and more special connection between users and applications.
Witch analysis can be used to better reward real users. Any list or grouping used to screen these witch accounts must be publicly disclosed for transparency.
Process
Submit proposals here and verify deployment addresses and provide other information before 00:00 (UTC) on July 1, 2024. Applications can publicly release this information on X and @zetablockchain to increase public visibility and collect feedback before determining the final airdrop allocation.
After receiving submissions, the UGP committee will contact eligible applications to determine the final airdrop allocation criteria that meet the requirements in the above guidelines.
After determining the percentage and levels of airdrop allocation, the UGP will authorize the allocation from the UGP to the application. Any witch analysis or screening must be publicly disclosed before allocation.
After completing all allocation deliberations, applications must disclose their reward allocation and reasons. Applications should publish the data through the claim check interface or complete data dumps.
After announcing the reward allocation, applications can begin distributing user rewards. Any behavior that fails to distribute rewards correctly, securely, and based on published data will result in the application being blacklisted from any future reward distribution. Applications can choose to work with the distribution platform TokenTable for users to claim their airdrops.
All distributions must be completed by October 1, 2024. Any remaining tokens that are not allocated or distributed will be transferred to other XP-focused programs.
Evolution of XP Data Graph
Participation in the XP loyalty program allows users to earn rewards. While the UGP forms the basis for this specific program's rewards, all applications have access to the open XP data layer to ensure user attraction and reward. A new ranking system is actively being developed, involving not only XP values but also other dimensions such as recent activities and others.
ZetaChain looks forward to feedback from XP activity participants and more communities to shape the future distribution of rewards, driving more sustainable and meaningful network usage.
Summary
XP is the core data and loyalty system for the mutual growth of applications and users. The XP airdrop model in the first round is the first reward iteration of the XP layer. This program reflects ZetaChain's commitment to building a thriving, interconnected community and a continuously evolving ecosystem. Provide feedback during this program, and ZetaChain will continue to improve.
About ZetaChain
ZetaChain is a universal L1 blockchain that serves as the foundational layer for the decentralized internet, providing a platform for global access, simplicity, and utility for any blockchain. The full-chain smart contracts on the universal EVM of ZetaChain are built specifically for the universal chain abstraction of the entire crypto ecosystem. ZetaChain can connect to any blockchain, from Ethereum and Cosmos to Bitcoin, achieving unified liquidity, user experience, and data, all on one platform. Universal applications on ZetaChain are future-oriented and fully integrated and compatible with existing and new chains. With the proposed universal proof-of-stake feature, ZetaChain supports staking assets like native Bitcoin and Ethereum for rewards, providing infinite scalability for economic security.
