💥[Facing the strictest witch in L0 history, what should we do?]
I only had time this afternoon to carefully read the "Witch Self-Reporting" from @LayerZero_Labs, the main cleansing rules:
- Self-reporting retains 15% of the airdrop allocation.
- Reporting others retains 10% of the airdrop allocation.
- Using NFT cross-chain platforms such as Merkly, L2Pass, L2Marathon may be marked as a witch.
Self-reporting and mutual accusation, the web3 version of the prisoner's dilemma, the project side is indeed becoming more and more playful!
Now there is a problem. Trash TX may be judged as a witch, small amounts may also be judged, cross-chain may also be judged, multiple addresses may also be judged, very ambiguous. It can be certain that these self-reporting addresses will definitely be shared with other project airdrops in the future, just like what HOP did, which is equivalent to being wasted.
I am more inclined to the fishing law enforcement of this self-reporting mechanism in L0. Personally, I do not recommend [self-reporting], which is highly likely to affect the survival rate of one's own address in the next airdrop. If it's dead, it's dead, and it's not meaningful to take 15% of the minimum living guarantee.
So what the group members said is correct:
The biggest beneficiary of this wave in LayerZero is actually the studio's workers. The best way to play is to report the boss's address and take away 10% of the reward. This is the rise and victory of the proletariat! 😂
