Odaily Planet Daily News: According to official sources, Mode, built on the OP Stack, announced that it will release the governance token MODE on May 7th, with a total supply of 10 billion tokens (initial circulating supply of 1.3 billion tokens), of which 5.5% will be allocated for the first round of airdrop (ending on May 5th) and airdrop application will open at 19:00 on May 7th. Users will have 30 days to claim the tokens, and unclaimed tokens will be used for future rewards for Mode users and developers.
The second round of airdrop will continue from May 5th to September 6th, during which an additional 5 billion tokens (5% of the total supply) will be distributed.
According to the disclosed information, 38% of MODE's supply will be allocated to investors and core contributors, 27% to the foundation treasury, and 35% for airdrops to users and developers.

EigenLayer plans to open token application on May 10th
Odaily Planet Daily News: The re-staking protocol EigenLayer plans to open token application on May 10th. The newly established independent non-profit Eigen Foundation will be the entity issuing the tokens. The total supply of Eigen tokens at the time of issuance is 1.67 billion, with 45% of the tokens allocated to its community. This allocation is further divided into equity input (15%), community initiatives (15%), and ecosystem development (15%). Additionally, 29.5% of the tokens will be allocated to investors, while early contributors will receive 25.5%. It is reported that the total lock-up period for investors and early contributors is three years, with the first year being fully locked, followed by a gradual release of 4% of their holdings per month over the next two years.
