With the prosperity of its ecosystem, Ethereum has taken the lead in the previous public chain competition stage. The subsequent development of L2 has injected new vitality into the market, but at the same time, the competition between different L2 ecosystems has also entered a white-hot stage.

Led by the "Four Heavenly Kings," L2, while attracting different applications to enrich their own ecosystems, has also launched different CDKs to attract project parties to build their own L2 or application chains.

CDK (Chain Development Kit, named in contrast to SDK) is an open-source framework designed to assist developers in quickly deploying L2 based on Ethereum. It provides a modular environment that allows developers to create specific application chains according to specific needs, or smoothly transition existing L1 to L2. Just a month and a half ago, PolygonCDK emerged, and as of now, it has attracted 13 project parties to build zkL2. Among them are well-known project parties, such as Immutable, Manta, and Dogechain. There are also Web2 popular games MapleStory and Dungeon & Fighter's development company Nexon.

ImmutablezkEVM

ImmutablezkEVM provides game developers with EVM compatibility, low cost, large scale, and Ethereum security. Compared to Immutable X, developers can build more types of games to provide a better experience for players.

The ecosystem of Immutable and Polygon provides game developers with a larger user base and financial support, totaling over one million players and $2 billion in investment. This provides a good foundation for the development and revenue growth of games.

GnosisPay

GnosisPay is a decentralized payment network and self-service savings card. GnosisPay provides a full set of banking and payment licenses, and complies with EU regulations. GnosisPay is Visa certified and cooperates with over 80 million merchants worldwide.

The infrastructure provided by GnosisPay supports numerous blockchains, tokens, DeFi protocols, as well as entry and exit providers. GnosisPay is built on the decentralized custody protocol and collective asset management platform Safe, storing over $10 billion.

GnosisPay aims to provide stable and reliable payment and storage solutions for application developers, building applications on zkLayer2 supported by PolygonCDK.

Wirex

Wirex, founded in 2014, is a global digital payment platform and regulated institution with the core goal of enabling everyone to use digital assets. In 2015, the company developed the first crypto-enabled payment card, allowing users to choose to use cryptocurrencies and traditional currencies in real life.

Aavegotchi

Aavegotchis are digital collectibles (NFTs) existing on the Polygon blockchain. Each Aavegotchi can be customized with various wearable items, such as hats, glasses, and other accessories, which can be bought, sold, and traded as NFTs. Wearable items have unique attributes and features that affect the appearance, rarity, and gaming abilities of Aavegotchis.

Aavegotchis are about to migrate to Gotchichain built by PolygonCDK.

CapX

Capx is a blockchain solution focused on token distribution and trading. It provides token distribution, investor allocation, and trading functions for project communities. Using Capx, projects can incentivize early users and adopters to participate in the platform and provide a seamless token exchange mechanism. Capx also allows projects to customize token parameters and distribution strategies. Through Capx's token distribution infrastructure, projects can increase visibility, attract more investors and users, and lay the foundation for long-term success.

PalmNetwork

PalmNetwork is an Ethereum-compatible sidechain aimed at establishing a scalable and sustainable NFT ecosystem. PalmNetwork will subsequently build zkLayer2 through PolygonCDK, making it easier for users to mint, trade, and collect NFTs.

IDEX

IDEX is a high-performance decentralized exchange that combines off-chain trading engines with on-chain settlement and custody, providing the security and low-cost transactions of the Ethereum base layer. Users can enjoy feeless trading, low latency, and instant execution, as well as autonomous control and transparent fund custody.

IDEX is building Xchain through PolygonCDK. According to the official website, Xchain can assist IDEX in providing gasless transactions and improving product performance, thereby achieving deep interaction with other L2s built through PolygonCDK.

Astar

AstarNetwork (formerly Plasm) is a multi-chain, multi-virtual machine DApp center on Polkadot, natively supporting Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), WebAssembly, Layer2 solutions, and DApp Staking.

Astar's new L2 adopts the usability of Gelato, the scalability of PolygonzkEVM, and the security of Ethereum. It features native account abstraction, smart contract automation with off-chain data access, high throughput, and low fees. Astar's zkEVM will provide flexible and reliable infrastructure and native account abstraction, serving as a gateway for Japanese enterprises to enter Web3 and drive mass adoption.

Dogechain

Dogechain is a fork from Polygon, created by Dogecoin enthusiasts and community OG members. Their vision is to bring encrypted applications such as NFTs, games, and DeFi to the Dogecoin community. Dogechain allows users to wrap DOGE tokens in smart contracts and then interact with projects on Dogechain. Users can use DOGE tokens to pay gas fees.

Currently, Dogechain is establishing zkLayer2 through PolygonCDK.

Canto

Canto is an EVM-compatible public chain. It makes traditional company systems accessible, transparent, decentralized, and free.

Canto will use PolygonCDK to establish a second-layer network, providing a richer experience for the digitalization of traditional companies through the security of Ethereum and the prosperity of the Polygon ecosystem.

MantaNetwork

MantaNetwork is a public chain built using zero-knowledge proofs. MantaPacific is an L2 ecosystem that provides low cost and a good experience. It achieves modularity with low gas fees through Celestia's data availability.

MantaPacific will subsequently build L2 through PolygonCDK and deeply integrate with the Polygon ecosystem.
