A few days ago, as the idol of many cryptocurrency enthusiasts, Bitcoin plummeted to 26,000. In an instant, countless people wailed and even started to consider extreme measures.

At that moment, I suddenly thought of a term, "decentralization," which is the foundation of the cryptocurrency world and a widely spread secret.

Literally speaking, decentralization means that everyone could be the center, and any changes in an organization should not be subject to the control of a single center. This is the essence of "decentralization."

With Musk's unhappy sale of Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency market plummeted, demonstrating that there are still centers, such as the big players like market makers and Musk. This also indicates that in the current cryptocurrency world, it is almost impossible for "everyone to be the center," at least not you or me.

Thus, the so-called "decentralization" has become an empty dream.

There is a famous saying in philosophy: "The economic base determines the superstructure." In my opinion, this applies to any field. Even if the blockchain metaverse changes its appearance, this saying still applies.

Applied to specific operations, it means: If you have no money, no earnings, where does your status and voice come from? There is no "decentralization," only centralization, and you will always be dominated wherever you go.

If you earn money, then no matter where you are, you could potentially be the center, and what you encounter could truly be "decentralized."

So, if we want to pursue "decentralization" and become the center, the first thing to address is the issue of making money.

In other words, if it is a truly decentralized network, it should first solve the problem of enabling the majority of people to earn money. Only when most people can earn money is it possible to achieve the so-called "decentralization," where individuals are the center and everyone is the center. Otherwise, it is not true decentralization, but a scam to make money under the guise of decentralization.
