According to records, Musk's Tesla bought $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin on February 9, 2021, and SpaceX holds some Bitcoin.

On July 21, 2022, they reduced their Bitcoin holdings by 75%, worth approximately $936 million.

On February 8, 2023, it was revealed that Tesla had purchased $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin.
