522 Billion Outflow on Shiba Inu (SHIB) in Last 24 Hours: Recovery Cancelled

Just as Shiba Inu's attempt at recovery seemed to be gaining momentum, it has experienced yet another setback. Exchange net outflows fell by 522 billion SHIB over the past 24 hours, according to on-chain data, which represents a dramatic reversal from the accumulation trend observed earlier this week.

Shiba Inu's breakthrough is questioned

The move implies that the most recent bullish breakout has lost steam when combined with declining price action. Technically speaking, SHIB has failed to break through the crucial resistance area around $0.00000500 once more.

The token produced a lower high and strengthened the larger bearish structure that has dominated most of 2026 after it momentarily moved closer to the 50-day moving average but was rejected almost instantly. Sellers are still active close to resistance, according to the most recent daily candle.

Buying interest has rapidly waned following last week's dramatic volume-driven rally, with SHIB falling back toward the $0.00000460 area. The breakout attempt has been essentially canceled due to the inability to establish consecutive closes above the 50-day moving average.

The cautious picture is still being painted by the moving averages. Despite the recent rebound, SHIB is still below the 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages, making the overall trend extremely bearish. Although it is still offering close support, the 20-day moving average has started to flatten as the upward momentum slows.

Is there any room for growth?

The indicator has moved back toward the neutral 50 level after momentarily entering bullish territory following the rally. The loss of momentum indicates that sellers have taken back control before the market could create a long-lasting trend reversal, and buyers no longer have the same conviction that drove the initial breakout.

A swing like this usually indicates that the phase of aggressive accumulation is over, and market players become much more cautious. The figure eliminates one of the most potent short-term catalysts that drove SHIB's recent rise, regardless of whether it represents increased selling pressure or just waning buying activity.

The 20-day moving average and prior consolidation converge at $0.00000445, which is the immediate support. The recent local lows around $0.00000410 would be exposed if that level were lost, and the entire recovery structure built over the previous two weeks would probably be rendered invalid.

Buyers must recover the $0.00000500 resistance and turn it into support if SHIB is to regain its bullish momentum. Until then, the combination of declining momentum, weakening price action, and the sharp decline in exchange flow data indicates that the most recent attempt at recovery has stalled before it could develop into a more significant reversal of the trend.
