Human needs in the AI era?

Maslow's theory: Survival needs --> Safety needs --> Social needs --> Esteem needs --> Self-actualization needs!

With the rapid development of AI, various types of robots will naturally emerge, even robots producing and maintaining robots, forming a self-circulating system of robots.

The primary industry, secondary industry, and tertiary industry can theoretically all be produced and worked by robots; the products and materials needed for human clothing, food, housing, and transportation can all be completely produced and manufactured by robots, allowing humans to finally no longer have to labor for survival needs.

In the future, with an abundance of materials, Maslow's theory of "survival needs" will not be an issue; this need will no longer exist. However, human safety needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs are things that AI and robots cannot fulfill!

Human safety needs are not just about threats from nature or public security dangers; in the AI era, human safety needs will transform into: a fear of the various weaponization of government judicial power, as the development and proliferation of AI will greatly enhance the government’s ability to manage, monitor, and even oppress and deprive people of freedom!

Robots fundamentally cannot meet human social needs, even though humanoid robots can be very life-like; after all, they are soulless machines, much like a sex doll can satisfy a temporary sexual desire but can never provide you with love.

Humans are social animals, and the need for esteem is essential, but which human would care about a machine's respect for you?

Moreover, the "self-actualization need" is essentially "the satisfaction of the spiritual world," which is also something robots cannot help with!
