
PANews April 30 news, according to the Chicago Sun-Times report, Chicago rapper Lil Zay Osama (real name Isaiah Dukes) was indicted by a federal grand jury along with five others for allegedly participating in a cryptocurrency home invasion robbery, facing charges of robbery and kidnapping. On March 8, three suspects disguised as food delivery workers armed themselves and broke into a residence in Winnetka, a suburb of Chicago, held the victims for about an hour, and demanded to open safes, computers, and cryptocurrency accounts. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Winnetka police were involved in the investigation. Osama was charged on April 16, and his lawyer stated that Osama did not participate in the robbery nor plan the incident. All seven defendants pleaded not guilty and were ordered to be detained. Osama was previously sentenced to 14 months in prison in 2024 for possession of a machine gun.
