PANews April 24 news, Slow Fog's Chief Information Security Officer 23pds stated on platform X that MioLab is a highly commercialized macOS malware as a service (MaaS) platform, actively promoted in Russian underground forums, specifically designed to provide C2 control, API integration, and customized attack capabilities for cybercriminal groups. Its primary target is cryptocurrency asset theft, and it even offers exclusive attack modules for hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor.

Through lightweight payloads combined with a fully functional Web backend, attackers can efficiently steal sensitive data from browsers, cryptocurrency wallet assets, and, aided by highly customized social engineering bait, bypass macOS security protections to achieve more covert long-term control.
