Previously, the New York Attorney General filed a lawsuit claiming that the two companies provided contracts for betting on events such as sports, entertainment, and elections to users aged 18 to 20 years old without obtaining a state gambling license, allegedly violating New York gambling laws, and sought fines, forfeiture of related profits, and prohibition from continuing to offer similar products in New York without compliance.
