The original post seems to have been deleted. This is a response from the product manager of X, who is also an advisor to Solana, to a question from a friend about why CT (I'm not very sure, but it's said to mean Crypto Twitter) has become very quiet and why no one is looking at the content.

Nikita's answer is that since October, there has been a "misconception" circulating in the CT community that as long as you reply frantically every day (gm, +1, emojis, clichés), your account will grow. As a result, many people reply to hundreds of messages daily, with extremely repetitive content that lacks information, thinking this is "feeding the algorithm."

However, the real algorithm mechanism is that the daily exposure limit is finite. Every time you post content, it consumes a portion of that day's exposure. Ordinary users only see 20-30 pieces of content daily, and the platform cannot push all your content to all your followers. The result is that exposure is wasted on ineffective replies like gm, and when you finally post important content (project announcements, in-depth opinions), the day's exposure has already been used up, and it may only be seen by 2-3 people.

CT was not killed by the algorithm but rather by its own actions.

Here, I will explain a bit: Nikita mentioned in interactions with others that if you engage with friends in the comments under your own topic post, it will not diminish your exposure.

So this tells us that a large number of ineffective comments on Twitter and AI's desire to gain weight and exposure are almost impossible.
