Wall Street veteran and macro analyst Jordi Visser predicts that U.S. financial institutions will increase their Bitcoin allocations before the end of the year.

"From now until the end of the year, traditional finance will increase its allocation to Bitcoin for next year," Visser told Anthony Pompliano in an interview released on YouTube on Saturday.

"I believe the allocation of Bitcoin in portfolios will be higher," Visser said. "This will happen," he emphasized.

Visser predicts that traditional financial institutions will enhance their Bitcoin (BTC) allocations in the fourth quarter of this year in preparation for next year. Meanwhile, market participants are discussing whether Bitcoin's price will peak in this cycle.

Visser's comments come months after a survey by Coinbase and EY-Parthenon showed strong institutional interest in the broader crypto market.

According to the survey conducted on March 18, 83% of institutional investors surveyed indicated they plan to increase their crypto allocations by 2025. In May, Bitwise released a report predicting that Bitcoin will see $120 billion in inflows by 2025, reaching $300 billion by 2026.

Meanwhile, according to Farside data, the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF recorded approximately $2.33 billion in net inflows over the past five days, bringing its total inflows since its launch in January 2024 to $56.79 billion.

According to data from BitcoinTreasuries.NET, the number of publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin on their balance sheets has recently surged, reaching approximately $117.03 billion as of the time of writing.

As for Bitcoin's price, Visser stated that while he is reluctant to make predictions, he does "like the way the charts are starting to look."

He pointed to the broader crypto market, noting that he sees many "small breakouts" from a technical perspective.

"What I really want to see is Ethereum breaking $4,000. Right now, it has been consolidating between $4,000 and $5,000. That's good. The historical high is around $5,000," he said.

"Once it really breaks out and goes up, we need the entire ecosystem to be rising, which means Dogecoin needs to go up, and Sui also needs to go up," he added.
