OpenSea is continuously evolving.

OpenSea Mobile App

With OS2, we have the opportunity to reimagine everything, including mobile devices.

We decided to build a new mobile app with the goal of: 1) creating the most enjoyable trading experience, and 2) envisioning what trading would look like with the help of native AI.

On-chain trading is the trend of the future, but it is still too complex at the moment. OpenSea mobile makes everything seamless: all your wallets, blockchains, tokens, and NFTs are centralized on one platform, eliminating the need to switch between accounts or worry about which chain to switch to.

AI will provide a top-level architecture that no one has mastered yet. After launching the MCP server to developers, we will use the same infrastructure to build the first version of "OpenSea Intelligence" - leveraging AI for smarter and faster trading. We are building the first truly AI-native trading experience that understands your entire cross-chain portfolio and helps you make smarter decisions in real-time.

We are also tired of the fragmentation between mobile and web. Unlike traditional wallets, all features on OpenSea will seamlessly connect across both platforms.

OpenSea Flagship Collection

As the cultural home of web 3, we are taking steps to help elevate the art that builds it.

Today, we launch the OpenSea Flagship Collection, committing over one million dollars to acquire historic NFTs and works from emerging artists.

Starting with CryptoPunk #5273, we will first establish important works and simultaneously promote the works of emerging artists. Each collectible will come with detailed information explaining why we believe it is worth collecting, thereby providing exposure for creators.

A committee composed of OS staff and external digital art advisors will be responsible for the selection, with integrity controls detailed in our learning center.

Final Reward Phase Before TGE

In addition to everything we are delivering, we will also begin placing millions of tokens and NFTs into a massive prize pool as the final reward phase before TGE!

Starting September 15, 50% of all platform fees (1% for NFTs, 0.85% for tokens) will support this program. Additionally, we will launch the final reward phase, offering one million dollars in OP and ARB already loaded into the vault.

When you log into the rewards portal next week, you will receive an initial treasure chest that can be upgraded - the higher the chest level at the end of the season, the larger your share of the loot. Anyone has a chance to win the grand prize. Will you find a chubby penguin? Or a bored ape?

Level up by:

• Trading across 22 chains
• Completing daily voyages
• Collecting surprise goods

Each chest will contain a treasure, with levels from 1 to 12. The higher the chest level = the higher the treasure level.

When the OpenSea Foundation shares TGE details, the treasures will play an important role.

As a reminder, historical activities on the platform will be rewarded and will receive their own allocation of SEA from the TGE Foundation, separate from our reward program.

Current "voyage" participants: Your XP will also be permanently stored in a new treasure, divided into levels 1 to 12, which will be delivered on September 15. This treasure will reflect your efforts over the past three months and has been reviewed by the foundation as mentioned above.

Updates on SEA

The OpenSea Foundation will share details about TGE in early October.
