Cryptographic Payments and Personal Freedom

At the end of the article on August 29, there were two comments:

"Have you read the book 'Stablecoins Closely Related to Every Common Person'? It explains many application scenarios of stablecoins and stablecoins + AI + IoT."

"Is there going to be a blockchain mall where you can download games and various software, just like the Apple Store, but this mall must have a unified currency, such as Ethereum?"

Recently, I have been particularly sensitive to topics related to crypto payments, and thoughts and questions about crypto payments occasionally flash through my mind.

The reason I have been frequently thinking about these issues lately is that certain nerves deep in my thoughts have been touched, and I have recently become particularly interested in Peter Thiel and Palantir, which he personally helped create.

Due to the collision of these experiences, my thoughts have undergone a significant transformation.

My previous views on crypto payments can be seen in my past articles:

A few months ago, I talked a lot about the AI + Crypto track. From this perspective, my main viewpoint and conclusion were that cryptocurrencies serve AI and are designed for future AI Agents' trading scenarios.

However, despite the vast imaginative space and commercial prospects of that scenario, I viewed it purely from a business perspective, and as an outsider. No matter how grand the imaginative space it could evoke, I always felt like a cold observer, having a detached attitude.

But now, as I wrote in the article on August 29, I find that my thoughts have changed a lot; I have returned to the perspective of "people" and the state of being "human."

Regardless of how advanced, spectacular, or grand AI may become in the future, humans will always be important members of this society. Moreover, we ourselves are human. From our own perspective as humans, even if we live in the future, we still need to consider our own interests, our environment, and the problems we may encounter.

Even if AI can provide services that seem unparalleled today, will those services be accessible to each of us?

If not, who will set up barriers?

I believe that a significant portion of those barriers likely still comes from centralized institutions controlled by humans. For example, in certain regions, all services provided by AI Agents are still forced to be paid for with fiat currency, so the controllers of fiat currency can decide who can access these services and who cannot.

Thinking this way, regardless of whether there is AI or how advanced future AI Agents may be, if these barriers are not removed, even living in a futuristic sci-fi world, humans are still controlled by centralized institutions. From the Trump family to countless small merchants in Yiwu, centralized institutions can create endless troubles for you with just one excuse; a small department from a place thousands of miles away that you've never heard of can block your source of livelihood.

Living in such a world, even if the surrounding environment is fantastical, humans lack dignity and security.

Therefore, the significance of crypto payments is not limited to supporting grand AI narratives; it is more about supporting individual dignity and security.

Knowing its significance, I believe that as participants in this ecosystem, we should make our efforts for the arrival of crypto payments when we are capable.

Peter Thiel is a great example in this regard.

When he saw his country deviating from the values he envisioned, instead of entering politics like many others, he chose to fund and even personally support those enterprises and individuals that align with his values, thereby subtly transforming his country.

Palantir, Tesla, SpaceX, and Vice President Pence are all well-known cases that are the fruits of his long-term efforts.

Some say that the assets he invests in are grander, not just business, but power. However, when I saw him earnestly persuading Musk to continue collaborating with Trump and not oppose the Great American Act, I could still strongly feel his inner passion, which is a spiritual pursuit that transcends business and interests, fully committed to defending conservative values.

Since the crypto payment track means breaking free from shackles and reclaiming dignity for individuals, participants in the crypto ecosystem cannot afford to ignore it.

I haven't read the book 'Stablecoins Closely Related to Every Common Person,' but what I care about is whether the "stablecoins" mentioned in the book are developed based on blockchain public chains and can circulate freely worldwide, or if they are "stablecoins" designed within a consortium chain fence?

If it is the former, then this book is worth reading.

But if it is the latter, then caution is needed when reading. Because such "stablecoin" payments merely lead humans from one fence to another, changing the soup but not the medicine, which is not very meaningful.

As for the concept of a "blockchain mall," even last year, I would have directly ignored it, but now when I see such projects, I will take a serious look and even try them out.
