Although it is not the season for copycat projects, those with significant movements are still seeing notable price increases. The popular project in the Desci sector, Bio Protocol (BIO), has risen over 230% this month, briefly surpassing $0.3, and has frequently appeared on Binance's gainers list. The driving force behind this is its launch of the first AI Agent project through its own Launchpad.
Bio Protocol: Leader in the Desci Sector
BIO Protocol is an innovative platform in the DeSci sector, dedicated to funding and commercializing scientific research in biotechnology. BIO Protocol Launches First BioAgent New Project Aubrai
The short-term surge in the price of the BIO token is due to BIO Protocol launching its first new project Aubrai in the Launchpad V2 version. Aubrai is a decentralized scientific agent co-developed by VitaDAO and BIO Protocol, aimed at combating human aging.
20% of Total Token Supply for New Projects
According to the Aubrai token economic model, the total token supply is 2 million tokens, with the following specific allocation details:
- New Project (referred to as Ignition Sale): 20% of the total token supply;
- Liquidity Pool: 6% of the total token supply;
- Treasury: 15% of the total token supply;
- Initial Funders: 20.1% of the total token supply;
- Allocation to LEVE: 10% of the total token supply;
- Allocation to VitaDAO: 22% of the total token supply;
- Allocation to Bio Protocol: 6.9% of the total token supply.
Among these, the new project portion has an FDV set at approximately $269,000 during the sale period, and after the sale ends, AUBRAI is expected to launch on the secondary market with an FDV of about $896,000.
New Project Ongoing, Currently Oversubscribed by 10.6 Times
The new project for Aubrai on the BIO Protocol platform opened last night, and this process will last for 24 hours, after which the tokens can be traded on the secondary market. Currently, it is oversubscribed by 10.6 times, with nearly 2.5 million BIO tokens subscribed, valued at approximately $500,000.

To participate in the new project on the BIO Protocol platform, in addition to holding BIO tokens, BioXP points are the key to determining the number of new project tokens one can obtain. BioXP is a points-based reward system used to track and reward users for their contributions to the BIO Protocol ecosystem. Generally, BioXP points expire 14 days after being obtained (special retrospective points allocated to early supporters will expire one month after the first Ignition Sale of V2). Additionally, a single user cannot purchase more than 0.5% of the total supply of new project tokens.

- Staking BIO tokens: Staking the same amount of BIO with different lock-up times will yield different amounts of veBIO, and the daily points earned will also vary;
- Staking other Desci ecosystem projects on the platform: In addition to staking BIO tokens, users can also stake tokens from other Desci ecosystem projects supported by the platform to earn points;
- Posting content related to BIO Protocol or any of the projects supported by the platform on X to earn points (users must first bind their personal X account on the platform).
It is worth mentioning that 85% of the points distributed daily by BioXP will go to BIO token stakers, while only 15% will flow to those purchasing ecosystem tokens and Yapper, which is why the price of BIO may surge in a short period.
Opening Market Value Less Than One Million, Participating in New Projects May Yield Good Returns
According to official disclosed data, the market value of the Aubrai new project is only $200,000, and the opening market value is around $900,000. Such a low initial market value means that new project users may have considerable upside potential. Referring to the popularity of previous hot new projects like Virtual, it is not impossible for the opening market value to exceed $5 million or even $10 million.
It is important to note that Aubrai is not an ordinary new project. As the first BioAgent new project, it is co-developed by VitaDAO and BIO Protocol, combined with the dual narrative of Desci and AI Agent, there is strong speculation potential in the short term.
