New Asset Selection Mechanism: Rigorous Assessment to Capture Quality Potential Stocks

To capture potential high-quality assets as much as possible, Huobi HTX has established a sound evaluation and assessment system.

According to Jasper, for projects that have already been launched on the exchange, Huobi HTX will focus on their subsequent development and assess whether the projects are continuously progressing. For projects that have not yet issued tokens, the evaluation process will comprehensively reference multiple key on-chain indicators, including holding distribution, on-chain activity, whether there are vulnerabilities or backdoor risks in the smart contracts, and the rationality of project valuation, ensuring that the selected projects have good potential and safety.

"Huobi HTX will track and lock in potential projects that may issue tokens up to a year in advance and will determine whether they qualify for listing through two to three rounds of in-depth assessments. The dimensions include project team background, investment institutions, track, anti-money laundering, KYC, contract security, actual operational progress, relevant traffic data, product overview, community enthusiasm, social media reputation, economic model, chip distribution, and whether on-chain data is authentic, while also leveraging data platforms like RootData, Glassnode, and CertiK to verify on-chain data and contract security, ensuring the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the data."

Jasper emphasized that the key to judging a project's "long bull" potential lies in the essential nature of its track. For example, projects related to DeFi and infrastructure, such as AAVE, UNI, LINK, and TRX, truly meet the core needs of the industry and possess stable cash flow and profitability, thus being regarded as essential products with a positive long-term outlook. In contrast, projects that rely on packaged concepts, false data, or pseudo-demand hype will be identified and filtered out by Huobi HTX through the assessment system.

Jasper stated that such rigorous screening ensures that over 90% of key projects will not be missed. Even so, for some projects with extremely high market enthusiasm but overall valuation and market feedback that are not ideal, such as "PUMP" type assets, Huobi HTX will decisively refuse to list them, as this is essentially a gamble; it is better to miss out than to blindly chase high prices. "Since the beginning of this year, Huobi HTX has successfully avoided at least three explosive projects, fully proving the reliability of this assessment system."

Exploring Asset Observation and Innovative Distinction Layers to Facilitate Community Participation and Transparent Investment

To enhance community participation and information transparency, Huobi HTX is also actively exploring innovative mechanisms such as the "Asset Observation List" and "Trial Operation Zone."

Jasper revealed that the voting recommendation for coins initiated by HTX DAO is essentially an observation area, where DAO community members can recommend and review potential projects through voting, becoming an important supplement to the official screening process. At the same time, Huobi HTX opened an innovative zone in the second quarter of this year, specifically for showcasing early projects or meme coins with lower certainty and higher volatility; the main area is reserved for more mature and high-quality assets, helping users choose between different risk preferences.

During the live broadcast, Jasper candidly stated that no exchange can guarantee that every listed project will perform excellently, even leading platforms like Binance and Upbit are no exception.

"An exchange is merely a venue for asset circulation, charging reasonable fees in the middle, and does not control the rise and fall of tokens.
