“Pigs get fat. Hogs get slaughtered. I state this lesson because I bought my latest bitcoin at $110K,” Kiyosaki shared on social media platform X on July 11. Referring to investor psychology during bull markets, Kiyosaki noted he’s entering what macro investor Raoul Pal calls “the Banana Zone”—a phase of explosive upward movement often driven by retail frenzy. The renowned author contrasted two types of market participants: disciplined “pigs” and reckless “hogs.” He opined:

Being a fat pig with enough bitcoin… I will wait for the coming hog slaughter. After the hogs stop squealing and selling and blaming bitcoin for their losses, my fellow pigs and I will buy more bitcoin on sale.

Kiyosaki is known for emphasizing long-term thinking and smart entry points. As he’s often said, “Your profit is made when you buy… not when you sell.” This latest post reinforces his philosophy that true gains come from informed, patient investing—not emotional reactions during price surges.
