As the only player in the #Web3 security field, #GoPlus recently launched the GSM solution. Many friends said they didn't understand it at all after reading the GitHub introduction. Today, I will briefly explain it here. You can think of this 🛡️#GoPlus GSM solution as a "virus protection engine" 🛡️ that integrates risk control for transactions directly into the nodes.
🌐 Let's talk about what #GSM is?
GSM is like a "security gatekeeper" within blockchain nodes. It is not deployed on wallets, front-end websites, or centralized APIs, but is directly integrated into a security module within blockchain nodes (such as the BNB Chain full node client), fundamentally blocking malicious transactions at the source.
It acts like a health check for smart contracts before DEX trading, directly blocking malicious ones and only allowing the good ones to enter the mempool for queuing, and it cannot be bypassed.
📝 So how does #GSM work?
1️⃣ Pre-Mempool Interception
Before transactions enter the mempool, they are intercepted by GSM first. For example, phishing contract addresses, blacklisted addresses, fake airdrops, etc., are directly sent to a black hole.
2️⃣ Sorting and Analysis (Pre-Pending)
Transactions are packaged and analyzed in order (for example, by address + nonce), identifying "chain scams" and "combinatorial attacks" (such as reentrancy attacks, honeypots, and other complex scripts). It looks beyond the surface to analyze behavioral patterns, uncovering 99% of disguises.
🧪 Officially provided test data: very impressive
Detection accuracy rate of up to 97% (based on 100 real attack transaction replays)
Can prevent potential losses exceeding 22 million USD (2024–2025 tested)
Stable performance: runs 24 hours under 1000 TPS (1000 transactions per second) pressure, with no lag or crashes
Latency of only <40 milliseconds per transaction: essentially imperceptible, fully capable of running on the mainnet
Open source: project code and test data are available on GitHub, transparent and trustworthy
What I want to say is that 'security' is always the key to our participation in DEX activities like playing memes or claiming airdrops on-chain. This #GoPlus GSM security suite is plug-and-play; it can be integrated not only into nodes but also into wallets, dApps, Layer 2 sequencers, RPC services, and other areas, spreading like a firewall throughout the entire on-chain ecosystem. Importantly, this type of security integration is fundamentally difficult to bypass. Unlike #Web2 security (browser plugins, APIs), the GSM security module is "natively integrated" on-chain, making it nearly impossible for hackers to circumvent or shield it.
On-chain operations are an important part of the dark forest, and many people have stumbled on-chain, including myself. Our team once lost 100,000 USD overnight due to a phishing website while investing in airdrop studios, contaminating 5 computers and 100 wallets. Security is the key and primary consideration for all Web3 activities. With the booming on-chain behavior, I believe that in the future, public chain battles will not only look at speed but also at "built-in security" capabilities. #GoPlus is working towards this direction, continuously advancing towards a "protocol security layer." Looking forward to it 🧐
