Katalin Tischhauser, the research director of digital asset bank Sygnum, stated in an interview with Cointelegraph that Bitcoin (BTC) is entering a supply shock period, which could have a more severe impact on prices than in previous cycles.

She noted, "A large demand will create a strong multiplier effect, meaning that every $1 of demand could lead to a market cap increase of $20 to $30. We have already seen this multiplier effect after the launch of Bitcoin spot ETFs and around the U.S. elections."

Tischhauser mentioned that the liquid supply of Bitcoin is limited compared to the large institutional capital pools on the demand side, which is one of the reasons why BTC prices may soar in the coming months.

"For the past year and a half, this liquid supply has been steadily declining, especially due to the surge in Bitcoin acquisition tools like Strategy, Twenty One Capital, and others," she added.

She also pointed out structural factors behind the bullish outlook for Bitcoin, including an increasingly clear regulatory environment, macroeconomic pressures, and the growing appeal of Bitcoin as a deflationary asset.

Since April 16, Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have only seen four days of outflows.

Nick Forster, founder of Derive, stated in an interview with Cointelegraph that Bitcoin may enter a "consolidation phase," which he described as a "healthy pause."

This pause will "give the market time to digest the recent gains and prepare for the next phase." Some analysts predict price targets that could be much higher, even reaching the range of $200,000 to $300,000.
