1. When to sell the chips in hand?
Recently, many readers have been asking when to sell the chips in hand. The main reason for this question might be the recent sharp rise in the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum, and even the pullback is not significant. Therefore, some readers are wondering if the bull market is coming and when to cash out.
According to my strict standards for a bull market, I still don't think it's a bull market now, at most it's just a sign.
Ethereum has not even broken the previous high;
Bitcoin surged past $69,000 and then dropped;
Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) have not mass-shared screenshots of their "sudden wealth";
The entire crypto ecosystem has not seen a flourishing situation in various fields;
Traditional media has not widely and unreservedly spread news of "XXX surpassing XXX dollars/yuan";
I have not heard anyone in the company elevator saying, "XXX is doing so well now, my friend XXX just got rich…";
Authoritative institutions have not used large-scale space to remind uninformed people to pay attention to the risks of CX and that XX assets are not legitimate investment channels;
Considering these phenomena, I think it's more important for everyone to focus on projects and continue learning.
2. Should I hold or sell STRK?
In this round of airdrops, I haven't sold any of the airdropped coins I received, including STRK, so far. I will continue to hold them until the bull market approaches a frenzy, at which point I will start selling Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Firstly, it's not yet a bull market, and these newly airdropped coins are likely to be hyped up in the upcoming bull market, so I believe they will likely have a market. Since there is a market, just stay on the ride and follow the trend.
As for any pullbacks or fluctuations during this process, it's all normal, but I won't engage in short-term trading for the sake of these small price differences: firstly, I'm not good at short-term trading, and secondly, losing the chips that will have a market in the future for the sake of this small profit would be a big loss.
Secondly, these coins, especially some ecological coins, are very likely to be airdropped by other projects in the future, and they are likely to be golden shovels.
So, I won't sell these coins. I will participate in staking for those that can be staked, but I will control the proportion of participation. I won't stake all of them.
3. Is it safe to stake ETH in LIDO?
I treat all staking coins in the same way: no matter how safe those staking projects may seem, how strong their background is, or how powerful their team is, I only stake a portion.
I do the same for ETH, and even more conservatively, I stake less than one-fifth of the ETH I hold.
4. Can I still buy XXX coin now?
Sometimes I will specifically introduce some projects in my articles. In fact, the fundamental purpose of me introducing those projects is to hope that readers can pay attention to the ecosystem or track where that project is located, because the latest developments of that project may indicate some unusual signs in that ecosystem or track. By observing that project, we can predict the possible future developments of that ecosystem or track.
However, it seems that more readers are concerned about whether the token of the project I introduced is worth buying?
In fact, I have written many times in my articles about whether a token is worth buying. When buying a token, two points should be considered: whether the project itself is good and whether the price is good.
Even if the project is good, it's not good if the price is too high.
Among the projects I introduced, some tokens I bought, and some I didn't.
Whether to buy a token also depends on each person's risk tolerance. For example, I am particularly interested in novel things, and sometimes as long as the price is not too high, I will buy some. However, the price I buy in at may be too risky for other investors and may not be suitable for them.
So, ultimately, readers should make decisions based on their own circumstances.
