The evening star is composed of three candlestick combinations: the first candle is a strong bullish candle; the second candle is an uncertain doji, shooting star, or gravestone doji; the third candle is a relatively bearish strong bearish candle, which needs to fall by more than 50% of the first strong bullish candle; this combination indicates a temporary end to the previous bullish trend, and a bearish retracement or even a reversal trend will occur later; if you are holding a long position, you need to halve your position or take profit directly; students waiting to go short can try to go short based on this signal; the stop loss should be set slightly above the recent high point; the profit should be set according to a risk-reward ratio of 1:2:3 for the take-profit target.
