No matter how much we criticize Ethereum, Ethereum remains in a league of its own in terms of technological development within the entire crypto space. The Ethereum Foundation has released a roadmap for "Simplifying Ethereum," aiming for completion by 2029. The Strawmap is their initial development plan, which has now been detailed down to how each hard fork will change things. The ultimate goal is to significantly overhaul the Ethereum protocol, making it lighter, more efficient, and with better performance, and resistant to quantum computer attacks, while minimizing disruption to existing applications.
