[Bitcoin Mining Company HIVE Subsidiary Raises $129 Million in Funding] Golden Finance reports that Bitcoin mining company HIVE Digital Technologies announced its subsidiary, BUZZ Alpha Cloud, has signed a fixed-rate credit agreement with institutional lenders for approximately $129 million. The agreement has an annual interest rate of 9.0%, a term of three years, and a loan-to-value ratio of approximately 80%. The funding will be used to purchase an AI GPU cluster, including NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 systems, and related infrastructure to fulfill a three-year sovereign AI customer contract with Cohere. HIVE's CEO stated that the funding corresponds to the purchase of approximately $165 million worth of 2,303 NVIDIA GB200 GPUs, with the equity contribution coming from 0% interest-bearing convertible bonds issued earlier this year. The company expects GPU deliveries to take place by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.
