Today, someone in the group asked me whether to cut losses on 07709 or not. Honestly, this question really hit home for me. In the past two years, making money in the U.S. stock market was super simple. Buy, hold, and many times, even buying more on the dips would eventually lead to decent returns. But since June this year, the market's rhythm has changed significantly. Yet, many people's trading habits are still stuck in the past two years. They're still used to holding onto positions, averaging down, and waiting for a rebound, only to end up with massive drawdowns. On the other hand, those who noticed the market shift earlier and were willing to adjust their strategies proactively have at least managed to preserve a good portion of their profits. I think the hardest thing in investing is letting go of the strategies that once made you money. The market has changed, but many people are still waiting for the old market to come back.
