According to Bits media, the Russian Central Bank and some commercial banks have started restricting fund transfers related to USDT cross-border arbitrage. These transactions typically involve purchasing USDT through crypto exchanges in Belarus and other CIS countries, then selling it for cash via offline exchangers within Russia to profit from the difference between cash and non-cash exchange rates. Single-round arbitrage profits can exceed 2%. The Russian Central Bank believes such transactions may be used to launder funds of unknown origin. Some banks have begun intercepting customer transfers to Belarusian crypto exchanges after cash deposits. Under Russia's digital asset regulation law passed this year, direct P2P cryptocurrency transactions between individuals will be prohibited starting July 1, 2027, and such transactions must go through compliant service providers. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/russia-bans-usdt-cross-border-arbitrage-p2p-2027-70337
