Happy Thursday night, bros! Today marks day 653 of my DCA journey using OKX, and yep, I’ve checked in for the day. Risk assets were pretty weak across the board today: Korean stocks took the hardest hit—KOSPI closed down 7.57%, KOSDAQ dropped 7.65%, and both triggered circuit breakers during the session, halting trading for 20 minutes. Samsung Electronics fell nearly 9.5%, SK Hynix plunged over 11%, with foreign investors continuing to sell off. The main reasons? Hotter-than-expected U.S. inflation, upward revisions to interest rate expectations, and growing doubts about AI investment returns. Asian markets followed suit, with the Nikkei also taking a big hit. As for U.S. stocks, the Nasdaq already dropped nearly 1.9% yesterday, and today tech stocks remain under pressure, with AI-related names seeing low sentiment. BTC is hovering weakly around 80K, and overall risk appetite is down. Day 653 of DCA, and extreme market moves like circuit breakers are when it’s easiest to confuse “seeing something happen” with “needing to do something about it.” When prices drop hard, you want to buy the dip. When they bounce back, you’re scared of missing out. In the end, you end up changing your steady plan into impulsive decisions. If your plan was already set, then today’s buy is just another scheduled move. Big volatility doesn’t mean your actions need to be big too—time is still working to smooth out your costs. On a day like today, are you sticking to your plan and checking in, or are your hands already itching to make a move? For DCA, I only use OKX. #Crypto #DCA #OKX #BTC #Investing
