🚨 INFLATION IS NOT SLOWING AND FED HAS NO CHOICE
US PPI rose 1.3% in September against 0.5% expected
On a yearly basis, producer prices are now up 6.3%, the highest since December 2022
Core PPI rose 0.7%, up from 0.2% last month
Energy costs for producers surged 10.8% in a single month
And it's spreading: transportation costs rose 3.4% and food rose 1.2%
This matters because PPI shows what businesses are paying today
What businesses pay today, consumers usually pay tomorrow
Yesterday's CPI already came in hot at 3.7%
Now PPI shows even more inflation is still in the pipeline
That makes another FED hike even more likely, possibly as soon as October 28
Higher rates mean less liquidity
That's a headwind for crypto
