[OneKey Terminates CryptoBilis Authorization and Offers Free Replacement for Some Purchasers] According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on October 12, OneKey founder Yishi announced on the X platform that in response to recent reports from multiple users who purchased Ledger hardware wallets from CryptoBilis and experienced asset theft, OneKey has terminated CryptoBilis's authorized distributor status and ceased adding new distributors. Additionally, all existing distributors will undergo a thorough review. Yishi stated that, as of now, there have been no reports of OneKey users experiencing asset theft due to this incident. However, as a precaution, OneKey will offer free replacements to eligible users who purchased OneKey hardware wallets from CryptoBilis between March 1, 2026, and the date of this announcement. This offer applies regardless of the model, activation status, or usage of the wallet. The application deadline for the replacement is December 31, 2026. For users currently using the affected devices and still holding assets, OneKey recommends treating the old mnemonic phrase as potentially compromised and transferring assets to a wallet secured with a new mnemonic phrase as soon as possible.
