Did I just nail it perfectly? When the market doesn’t want you to buy the dip, there’s always a flood of bearish news: U.S. government selling crypto, skyrocketing U.S. bond yields, oil crisis, and U.S. stock market corrections.
When bearish news stops causing drops, that’s when you need to pay attention. The truth is, it’s almost impossible to wait for the perfect entry point. Accept that you can’t catch the absolute bottom. No matter how frustrating it feels, you need to buy a small observation position to stay objective about the market. Based on my observations, people who hold zero positions are more likely to miss out. The longer you wait, the harder it gets to make a move—and missing out on an entire market cycle happens more often than you think.
Also, be especially cautious of those overly mystical bearish opinions. The viewpoint might be correct, but you need to keep questioning: Is the drop continuing here? Can it bounce back? If it does bounce back, you need to adjust your perspective.
Of course, people who are always bearish will eventually be right at some point. But if you zoom out and look at the bigger picture, you’ll realize they’re often ridiculously wrong.
