[Morgan Stanley: Marvell FY31 EPS Guidance Exceeds $30, Raising Growth Threshold]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports, according to Tide Research, Morgan Stanley's October 7, 2026 research note states that Marvell's Investor Day set an FY31 revenue target of $70 billion to $90 billion, with a midpoint of $77.5 billion, and non-GAAP EPS exceeding $30. FY28 revenue guidance has been raised from $18 billion to $20 billion. Morgan Stanley has increased its price target from $268 to $300, maintaining an Equal-weight rating, with the current stock price at $287.01.
Morgan Stanley believes the incremental growth mainly comes from connectivity and custom business segments. Vertical expansion in optics is expected to contribute several hundred million dollars starting next year, while horizontal expansion in switching is projected to exceed $1 billion next year. This guidance bets on $3 trillion in data center capital expenditures by 2030, with the revenue framework based on existing customers, products, and design wins, without relying on a single socket.
Morgan Stanley prefers buying before the event and avoiding chasing the stock after the event.
