[Cronos Community Proposes Using Product Revenue to Buy Back and Burn CRO] The Cronos community has released a governance proposal to use all revenue generated by Ult and Cronos Launch to purchase CRO from the market monthly and burn it. This process will be executed on-chain each month, with the hash of every transaction made public. Operational, infrastructure, and growth-related costs will be covered by existing funds, while the strategic reserve will be used to support future staking rewards for Cronos POS. Staking rewards will continue to be distributed according to the current Cronos POS parameters, and when issuance decreases, funds will be supplemented from the reserve. The proposal is currently in the proposal stage, with the voting period ending on October 3.
