According to Wu Blockchain, Japanese fintech company Netstars has announced the signing of an MOU with Kaia DLT Foundation. The plan is to integrate stablecoins on Kaia into its StarPay and Stablecoin Pay platforms, driving the adoption of Asian stablecoins in physical stores in Japan and cross-border payment scenarios. The two parties will explore supporting stablecoins pegged to major currencies like the Korean Won, Hong Kong Dollar, New Taiwan Dollar, and Southeast Asian fiat currencies. They will also study a model where visiting users can pay with stablecoins while merchants settle in Japanese Yen. Netstars' payment network currently covers approximately 700,000 merchant locations in Japan, with an annual payment processing volume exceeding $13 billion. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-68255
