TRX ETF is coming! The range of funds and investors TRON can reach might further expand. Congrats to Brother Sun @justinsuntron Canary's TRX Staking ETF will debut on the U.S. Cboe BZX on September 9, with the ticker code TRXS. TRON is already one of the key networks for USDT transfers, payments, and settlements, and TRX itself has very clear use cases within the network: paying for Gas, acquiring bandwidth and energy, and participating in staking. In the past, institutions wanting to allocate TRX had to deal with a series of issues like custody, wallets, private keys, staking, and operations on their own. With the ETF launch, these barriers are significantly lowered. Based on publicly available information, TRXS will directly hold TRX spot assets and plans to allocate over 90% of its daily holdings for staking. In other words, custody, asset holding, and staking yields will all be packaged into a standardized listed product. This is actually very important for institutional funds. It’s not that institutions are unwilling to explore crypto assets—it’s that they don’t want to deal with the complexities of on-chain operations and custody costs. By solving these infrastructure issues, the ETF provides TRX with at least one formal entry point for traditional funds to include it in their allocation lists. Next, I’m paying closer attention to two metrics: • How much more can the real demand for payments, transfers, and settlements on the TRON network grow? • After the ETF launch, how much new capital will flow into TRX? Of course, an ETF listing doesn’t guarantee a massive influx of funds, but it does expand TRX’s funding channels. If the on-chain usage demand and ETF capital inflows can grow simultaneously, then the significance of this development might go beyond just “adding another financial product.” @justinsuntron TronEcoStar @trondao tronecostar
