[Pakistani Interior Minister Visits Iran with Aim of Proposing a New Interim Agreement]
According to Turkey's Anadolu Agency, as cited by Jintou, Pakistani sources revealed that Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Iran on Saturday. The discussions aim to break the deadlock between the U.S. and Iran and propose a new interim agreement. The report indicates that the negotiations are expected to focus on resuming the second round of talks between Washington and Tehran. This visit takes place against the backdrop of Pakistan's efforts to mediate and help achieve a broader agreement to end the U.S.-Iran conflict.
In addition, the Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement strongly condemning U.S. military strikes on radar and coastal monitoring facilities located in the Sirik region and Qeshm Island. The statement described these attacks as a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement and a military aggression against Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
