[Senior Manager of Huobi Group Accused of Dark Pool Trading and Transferring Nearly 5 Million USDT, Acquitted of All Seven Charges] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on April 25, as reported by Hong Kong 01, Chen Bailiang, the then-senior manager of Huobi Group, was accused of registering a personal account under the name 'Chen Feng' on the company's platform. He allegedly bypassed the dark pool trading permissions restricted to corporate clients to conduct large-scale over-the-counter transactions without price and quantity limitations, transferring approximately 4,999,000 USDT (equivalent to about HK$39.18 million) in five transactions to his personal accounts on OKX and Binance. Chen Bailiang faced six charges of illegal access to computers and one charge of money laundering. On April 24, 2026, the jury of the Hong Kong High Court found all charges not guilty, and the court also approved the defendant's application for litigation costs.
