Jefferies strategist removes Bitcoin configuration due to quantum computing risks

Christopher Wood, Global Head of Equity Strategy at Jefferies, recently removed 10% of his Bitcoin allocation from his model portfolio, citing that the development of quantum computing may weaken Bitcoin's cryptographic security. Wood stated that the continuous breakthroughs in quantum computing may challenge Bitcoin's attributes as a long-term value storage asset, and this risk has entered the mainstream asset allocation considerations.
