Hi @kevinolearytv Among other things, I research Bitcoin mining and energy. The statement you made to the press about Bitcoin mining below is factually inaccurate. More traffic doesn't matter as long as it's not peak hour traffic (which Bitcoin mining is incentivized never to be, because it's not economical to mine then). Further, A Duke University Study showed that because Bitcoin is flexible in its energy consumption, it can actually be the solution to getting more AI onto the grid. Finally, we have numerous data points both from Texas and around the world that show Bitcoin mining reduces the cost of power to ordinary residential users.
