Among the newly released files, at least 550 pages have been completely redacted and are unreadable. One set of three consecutive documents, totaling 255 pages, has been entirely blacked out, while another 119-page document labeled "New York Grand Jury" has also been fully redacted. Additionally, at least 180 pages appear in files marked as "partially readable, partially redacted." Although the newly released materials include photographs of several well-known individuals associated with Epstein, images of the interior of his residence, and investigative records related to serious sexual assault allegations, the extensive redactions have sparked dissatisfaction. The U.S. Department of Justice responded by stating that the redactions comply with procedural and legal requirements.
