[Polymarket Declares Trump's Claimed Trump Gold Card Sales 'Fraudulent']
Odaily Planet Daily News: On December 19, Trump announced at a press conference that Trump Gold Card sales had reached $1.3 billion, claiming it was a 'hot seller.' Polymarket has declared Trump's claim about Trump Gold Card sales as 'fraudulent.' However, the probability on Polymarket predicting that 'Trump Gold Card sales this year will be $0' remains at 88%. The reason is that Polymarket added a note to this prediction, stating that only data explicitly referring to quantities that have been finally approved and supported by completed payments will count.
Trump's December 19 statement about Gold Card sales, as well as Howard Lutnick's claim that '$1.3 billion worth was sold in just a few days,' do not meet the standard of 'finally approved and supported by completed payments.'
It is reported that the Trump Gold Card is an investment immigration program launched by the Trump administration, allowing wealthy foreigners to obtain U.S. residency by paying high fees (currently $1 million, plus a $15,000 processing fee).
