Elon Musk states that there is no need to save money because universal high income is coming in the future. I've held this exact sentiment for years and couldn’t agree more. AI and automated robots are going to continuously grow indefinitely. Automation will collapse the value of human labor. We will eventually get to a point where productivity is entirely machine-driven, therefore income won't be earned, but rather something distributed by governments to keep the system functioning. It does sound dystopian because it abandons centuries of work‑for‑income logic and hands control to governments, which love power and will inevitably shape how that income is distributed, but that’s likely the future we’re heading toward.(Jacob King)
