A few months ago, Aster decided to create its own privacy-focused L1 blockchain to address issues like position transparency leading to targeted whale liquidation and market impact. Now it looks like the privacy aspect will involve collaboration with Brevis. Brevis is one of the few ZK projects with mature solutions currently available. They recently launched ProverNet, a decentralized ZK proof computation auction marketplace. It only took a few weeks to go from whitepaper to implementation, showing strong execution capabilities. Essentially, this is like the Alibaba Cloud of the ZK space. Projects with ZK proof needs can directly publish and auction their requirements in the marketplace, while verifiers can provide services through open competition. The entire process—from auction, matching, to settlement—takes place on-chain. Brevis has already helped over 30 partners, including Uniswap and PancakeSwap, complete over a hundred million ZK proofs. With the launch of ProverNet, they’re opening up their mature capabilities to the market, allowing more people to participate. As of now, Brevis’s TGE is approaching. Once $BREV goes live, it will replace $USDC as the native settlement currency for ProverNet, covering task fees, execution fees, and transaction fees.
