This is because @ethena_labs deployed their own Perp market on the Hyperliquid ecosystem through the HIP3 mechanism — @hyenatrade. For this market, 50% of the trading fees will be shared with the Ethena protocol. In other words, besides the stablecoin income from USDe, Ethena now has an additional revenue stream.
