One way I like to look at crypto is in terms of exports What have we, as an industry, materially delivered to society outside our echo chamber To date, I think it’s: - Bitcoin (new monetary asset) - Token speculation (digital casino) - Stablecoins (better payment rails) Not a very long list, however I think we’re on the cusp of adding a few new key exports: - Tokenization (24/7 global markets) - Safe DeFi (open banking rails) - Perps (new financial instrument) Anything in crypto not directly contributing to these use cases will likely wither into irrelevancy Build to break outside of the circular crypto economy, not reenforce it(Zach Rynes | CLG)
