Ten years ago, I accidentally clicked on an article about Bitcoin, like opening a door to an unknown world. At that time, I thought it was just exposure to new knowledge, but I never expected that my life trajectory would change from then on. I still remember when I first registered for the exchange, I repeatedly checked that lengthy string of wallet addresses. Sweating palms when clicking send. When I bought a few cents worth of BTC for seven or eight hundred dollars on the OK exchange for the first time, I received a month's salary! A few days later, it rose by 30%, and the feeling of making money was very exciting! I thought I had found the password to wealth. The cold winter of 2018 came unexpectedly. The account has experienced a continuous drop of 80%. Staring at the candlestick chart late at night, I dare not sleep, afraid of missing any opportunity for a rebound. At the most difficult time, I couldn't even bear to order takeout, yet I kept recharging and buying at the bottom. It was then that I realized that in the torrent of the market, I was just a grain of sand, yet I had delusions of changing the direction of the river. The real turning point occurred before the third halving. I stopped chasing every hot topic and started to focus on researching underlying technologies. After devouring over a dozen blockchain monographs, I have compiled three thick notebooks. I suddenly realized that I had been gambling before, but now I have finally started investing. The most unforgettable May 19th, 2021. I cleared all animal coins three days in advance, even though they were still skyrocketing at the time. When the crash came and my friends were howling in the group, I was quietly reading 'Blockchain Revolution'. This is not an unpredictability, but a recognition gained from a bloody lesson: when the food market aunt is discussing cryptocurrency, the foam should burst. Now, I am no longer anxious about daily fluctuations. I have established my own investment principles: only invest in projects that I truly understand, position management is more important than timing, and never touch high leverage. These rules are simple, but it took six years to engrave them into our bones. Recently sorted out old items and retrieved transaction notes from 2018. Those densely packed stop loss order records seem invaluable now. As the saying goes, any experience given by someone or something is either gained or learned. Indeed, this is not the life I once imagined, without overnight wealth and the halo of financial freedom. But this is a life I have brought upon myself, learning to be calm in the midst of fluctuations, restraining in temptations, and staying clear headed in chaos. At 3am, once again facing market fluctuations alone. But this time, I calmly turned off the screen. The stars outside the window are faint but firm, just like my persistence over the years. Your hands are so big that you can't grasp every opportunity, but what you can grasp becomes a part of life. These years have not allowed me to achieve financial freedom, but have given me something even more precious - how to place my heart in a rapidly changing world.
